56-Hour Operator Of Uninspected Passenger Vessels (OUPV) or 6-Pack:

OUPV/6-Pack Course Schedules - We routinely offer the OUPV course on three different schedules as described in the following:

**WEEKEND/EVENING COURSE SCHEDULE: Conducted for 10 Consecutive Days: TWO (2) Weekends during the daytime Saturday/Sunday (9am-6pm), and SIX (6) Weeknight Evening (6:30-10:30pm). TESTING TO BE CONDUCTED AFTER COURSE COMPLETION.

# WEEKEND COURSE SCHEDULE: Three weekends Saturday/Sunday (9am-6pm), and two weeknight evenings (6:30-10:30pm).

DAY COURSE SCHEDULE: Conducted for 7 Consecutive Days (9am-6pm daily) TESTING TO BE CONDUCTED AFTER COURSE COMPLETION.

1-Day Towing Vessel Officer

Designated Examiner TOAR Assessment Training

This training is no longer offered on an individual student basis.  The Towing Vessel Officer DE training is conducted for towing vessel officers to comply with the Coast Guard requirement for DE's to have received training in formal instructional techniques and in conducting practical assessments for mariners.  This training is conducted by prior arrangement with the towing vessel companies to train their DE candidates.

16-Hour Apprentice Mate (Steersman)

NOTE: This is not a stand alone course, unless you already hold a valid license for Master of vessels of not more than 150GRT or 200GRT, with 12 months (360 days) of experience onboard towing vessels.   See Course Description.

Passenger Ship Crewmembers

This training is not offered on an individual student basis.  The Crowd Management training is conducted for passenger ship crewmembers to comply with the STCW requirement for crowd control training for those assigned duties to assist passengers in emergency situations.  Training is conducted by arrangement with the vessel operator or ship management company.
